Collection: Whooping Crane

The Whooping Crane has some great courtship rituals, that include dancing, bobbing heads, throwing grass, leaping and trumpeting. This crane has a wingspan of over 7 feet and can be as tall as 5 feet!. In the 1940s the entire population dwindled to less than 20 birds but now has rebounded to over 500. Great conservation efforts!
